какое-то во мне роится смутное подозрение парадоксальности подобной конструкции. точнее, недоделанности шутки - надо было придумать так, чтобы в результате отметки доллар отбирался, но бокс всё равно в вопроснике оставался.

кстати, в вопросниках редко используется возможности мета-вопросов, обратной связи для самого инструмента. даже и не знаю, почему.

Hi! My apologies for posting in english;
unfortunately, I'm not Russophone. (I should have taken
more classes from Ms. Crockett back in grade 7...) The major problem
with statistics is the unspoken assumption governing their collection,
and the questions they choose to ask. In canada, for example,
there's the question of language use statistics. I'm not sure
that they go into enough detail to build up plausible pictures of the
ways in which language is actually used.

it's ok with me if you'll write in english; from the fact that i added you as a 'friend' you could guess that i know the language a bit :)

it's a pity, of course, that YOU will not always be able to follow my journal - which is mostly written in russian, although i post a lot of english-language documents. but please feel free to ask questions - i'll be happy to help you to understand what we are talking about here (subject of time, of course).

i also post a lot of visuals, which is good for you, since they don't require translation :)

this particular picture... i think i posted it because of 'non-finished paradox' here - they would have to phrase this tick-box question in such a way to get a $1 but somehow leave the box in the future questionnaires.

i used to work in consumer research industry, so i know the tricks from inside :)

Same here, of course. (Look at me, procrastinating over a paper that was, um, due today.) I'll use AltaVista translator--the translated version I got of your journal seemed coherent enough. ;-)
