Smoking damages almost all aspects of sexual, reproductive and child health, a hard-hitting report by the British Medical Association (BMA) said on February 11, 2004.

The report estimated around 120,000 men in the UK aged 30-50 were impotent because of smoking.

"The sheer scale of damage that smoking causes to reproductive and child health is shocking," said Dr Vivienne Nathanson, the BMA's Head of Science and Ethics.

Women who smoke are twice as likely to be infertile as non-smokers, the report said. Furthermore, smoking is linked to around 3-5,000 miscarriages a year and around 1,200 cases of malignant cervical cancer in the UK alone. - Smoking Leads to Impotence and Infertility

Статистика что дышло.. А что если женщины, не могущие зачать ребенка, начинают нервничать и закуривают?

Я думаю, что другие проблемы, с которыми приходится сталкиваться по жизни, в какой-то мере сглаживают, невелируют проблему курения. Курить надо бросать. Но это не панацея. Лучше тебе не будет. Просто одной гадостью станет меньше. А статистика эта дурацкая ни чуть не помогает. У меня прадет курил пока жил, а жил он до 96 лет. Последний ребёнок родился, когда ему было 52. Разница между экологией деревни на стыке XIX-XX веков совсем не та, что на стыке XX-XXI. Курение - тут погоды не делает.

Smoking is the pits! I just saw a new commercial yesterday where they were making popcicles with big sharp edges of glass all through it and sticking out of them...and saying all kinds of warnings while they were showing the company making them.....I'm like what the heck?! Turned out they were comparing cigarette companies as the same as selling glass popcicles as long as they have a warning on them...

Did I just make sense, you would have thought it a cool commercial :)
