Я всегда думал, что peer production существовало столько, сколько существует человечество, а IT и сети дают ему гигантский скачок в информационной и ощутимый в физической сфере.

Кроме того, судя по абстракту, автор сильно смешивает коммерцию/продукцию физических вещей и информационных вещей. Это две радикально различные вещи, и в будущем модели коммерции и продукции первых будут фундаментально отличаться от вторых.
