MAdGE (Mothers Against Genetic Engineering in Food and the Environment) today launched a highly controversial billboard campaign in Auckland and Wellington to provoke public debate about the social and cultural ethics of genetic engineering in New Zealand.

Fonterra, New Zealand's largest milk company recently purchased the patent rights to large amounts of human DNA from an Australian genetics company. 'The mothers of New Zealand would like to know exactly what our milk company are doing with this human DNA.'

I definitely don't believe in this stuff.... the cloning thing really blows my mind, how far they've went with it practically makes me sick.

I just found out recently that to make Progesterin (the hormone in birth control and replacement therapy) it is made out of pregnant mare urine. (and most woment don't even know this) If that's not bad enough I saw the environment they keep these mares in to keep getting them pregnant... then of course where do all the babies go (the meat factory) It's really sad how far science goes as far as ethics :(
