you know that in daoism, for example, it is prohibited to create totally perfect sculptures of the gods... they should be left unfinished "a bit". also, in the otherwise completely perfect palace of the chinese emperor, one room is always left unfinished. many amazing statues of buddha have a little finger or ear lobe deliberately broken by the author...
... but back to the point - i do sometimes photoshop-out the bugs.. was just lazy this time :)
