congeriesIt may not sound like a good idea for those traumatized by the events of Sept. 11 to relive them once again in virtual reality, but that's what scientists at the University of Washington are helping some of the surviving victims of 9/11 do.
"These people are suffering because they are avoiding their own memories of the event," said Hunter Hoffman, a researcher at the UW's Human Interface Technology (HIT) Laboratory.
"Basically, we're using virtual reality to modify the person's memories," Hoffman said. странно все это, может это женский взгляд на вещи, но имхо это йес, гипер трогательно для всех, но слишком жестокое испытание для детей.
