speech accent archive - очень интересный ресурс. они собрали и проанализировали образцы различных акцентов, которые можно все прослушать, не особенно далеко отходя от кассы.

ещё есть какая-то подведённая под это дело теория, но тут мои познания как-то истощаются. интересно просто послушать "народы"... русский звучит "до боли" знакомо :)

i said nothing special, just plain info - 'this is the site with samples of english accents... have a look, or rather - have a ... what? do you say "have a 'smth' if you want to refer to the sound? smell? touch?

oh, yes, i also said that russian sounds "paifully familiar" ^_^

i come from a part of the north that has heavy northern and southern influences that mix very strangely and interestingly, and one of the things i've always found to be weirdest was the way people talked and why.

А то мне тут уже заявляют, что я по английски с голландским акцентов говорю ;) во как!
