i guess these were seagulls. or at least gulls of some kind... i was actually shocked, not only by their quantities (they were galore this day, and crying so awfully :(( ). but also by the very fact they were there - this is in fact a large swamp, or something between a lake and a swamp, and quite far from any sea... the nearest is around 200 km... so i have no clue why they came here… by tons, really...
i made a lot of pictures, but all from quite a distance.. there was no way to come closer... i regret i didn't take my tele...
gulls! Of course! I live in Colorado (USA) and we are quite land locked and have tons of gulls. You don't need a sea to have seagulls! ;) Thankfully, because they are so entertaining to watch!
