One of the things the team found was that teenagers in the West see mobile phones as a symbol of freedom from their parents.

But young adults in developing countries like China saw mobiles in a far more serious light.

my native language is russian, and this is the main language of my journal... i do quote many things in english, and also post many pictures (too many, as some people say :)

so, i hope you'll find some "food for thought" - or whatever else you're looking "food" for :)

quite naturally, many of my lj-friends are also russian speaking lj-users... but, like me, they are not necessarily in russia - in fact, lot of them are in the us, either living or working/studying...

so, in principle, english is very welcomed in this place :)

ps: there are online russian-english "tranlsators"… they are easy to use and although far from perfect, can give you a sense of what the talk is about :) let me know if you need an url : )

your right. I forgot about that. I know of one at alatavista.com thanks ill have to do that. the letters for your language do not look the same as mine. so that also makes it difficult.
