Оказывается, текущее полнолуние известно в некоторых культурах как "вольчье"; Wolf Moon. Какая-то она необычно жырная, и ярко-красная нынче, потому что как-то особенно близко подходит к Земле.

Indeed, it was apparently a very special, once-a-year moment, when the moon was closest to the earth. I've learned that the day (and the moon of it) is called Wolf-Moon by some Native American tribes.
