John Lieberman poses with thousands of America Online promotional compact disks at his home in El Cerrito, California. Lieberman and Jim McKenna are asking anyone and everyone to send their unwanted CDs to them and once they get a million they're driving them to AOL headquarters in Virginia and asking them to politely stop. Armed with their Web site, the two have collected over 80,000 of the disks, which offer trial subscriptions to AOL's services.

other uses for AOL discs...

I made Xmas decorations from the discs.

If you put them in the oven at about 200C (or on the barbeque) for 5 minutes they become warm and bendy; you can then mould them into different shapes.
I made them into cones and, after adding some pinecones sprayed silver and some glitter and tinsel, they became Christmas tree decorations that suitably reflected the tackiness and fake glitz of AOL!!!
