The Dream of Piranesi: Eternal Modern Design

Мероприятие описывает следующим образом:

"There has never been such an extensive exhibition in Europe of Piranesi, late 18th century Italian artist and architect who still plays an influential role on the architects and designers of today.

"The exhibition was organised in collaboration with the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York, and Ronald de Leeuw, director of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, who initiated the exhibit for the Teylers Museum, also acts as a guest curator.

"Even the museum itself is befitting for the dream of Piranesi. The 18th and 19th century interior is a striking architectonic backdrop for the revolutionary ideas of Piranesi. Teylers' new exhibition hall radiates an exciting personality, well-suited to the theatrical character of the artist."
