i am a mountaineer, i used to climb very actively, for more than ten years. i lived nearby a large mountain range. well, i now live in holland :((
recently i joined photosig, a large photo community, and start encountering pictures of mountains there, some of them *not bad*.
and then i asked myself, why if i love mountains so much, there are none of them in my journal? simply because there are none of them around? that's not the reason, i thought.
and vuala, you see the resulting "sudden fascination" :))
