| Hana - concept from New Vision, Philips Design, 1998 "The New Vision project explored small screen televisions that addressed higher-level consumer needs in which the product benefits are more emotional, rather than purely rational. 'Hana', Japanese for flower, was one of the selected concepts for a bedroom TV. The light emanating from the rear of the set gives a warm glow, while the holes in the enclosure are like droplets of water on a flower. | AmbiLight TV, Philips, 2004 AmbiLight technology analyzes the incoming signals and automatically changes the ambient lighting to fit the color and brightness of the image. This enhances the perceived picture quality and creates a unique ambience in the surrounding. When TV set is switched off, AmbiLight can still provide a unique ambience for the room. |
