The Netherlands became the world's first country to make medicinal cannabis (marijuana) available as a prescription drug in pharmacies to treat cancer, HIV and multiple sclerosis patients, the Health Ministry said. Dutch pharmacies will be supplied with the government-tested, medicinal cannabis as the Netherlands legalizes the supply of the drug to thousands of patients.
