M-Blog Launches Hosted Weblog Service

M-Blog unveiled this week a hosted weblog application for businesses looking to use the popular type of Web page for secure internal and external communications.

M-Blog Business, tailored to small and midsize organizations, can be used to facilitate open and private communication among associates or with customers while building a knowledge base for the company.

M-Blog's home page shows the latest posts, links and upcoming events from the weblogs within the space. In addition, users see the weblog posts they have been assigned, along with indicators showing the status of the items. The software can be used to track action items and project tasks, all within an easy to use, compact package, company officials said.

In addition, a text-search engine combined with customizable weblog categories make collected knowledge easily accessible to all users.
