к вопросу об архетипах - вот пример удивительно "архетипичного" для меня места. просто "всё родное", "тут бы жил и помер". откуда это берётся?

то есть, мне именно *там* хочется находиться, на какой-нибудь снежной полочке, или гребне.

Great!

Who would not want to be there and in the presence of such majesty!

It's completely uplifting.

When I was Table Mountain for the first time, I *knew* I would be there again, and that there was a connection for me there. So somehow, it will happen!

желание света

не без этого, конечно. свет - важный кусок данного архетипа.

Yes, but my Russian is lousy!

I haven't been there sinceI was on a project in summer 2003, and have barely spoken since then.

I need practice . . .

you seem to be getting the meaning of my notes. and i write in a VERY obscure russian, mixture of hints and unfinished sentences (plus, decapitalized). kudos, if you anyhow get the point.

where have you been there?

The last project in 2003 had me in Moscow, St. Pete, Yaroslavl, and all down the Volga to Samara. I liked Kazan a lot, and found the entire Upper Volga area remarkable.

Previous projects had me in Ukraine and Belarus as well as a lot in St. Pete and the oblast.

Next summer I'm supposed to go to Lake Baikal. Now that would be an extremely cool project!
